A spectacular Cavalcade of Colours

The resort is situated on the shores of Lake of Bays in the heart of
Muskoka, an area renowned for its pristine lakes, natural beauty, clean air,
and abundance of wildlife. To those living in Ontario, the area is
affectionately referred to as "Cottage Country".
September days are still summer-like, but the nights are getting cooler. By
the end of October it is possible to experience the season's first snowfall.
Some time during mid to late fall you'll experience our legendary "Indian
Summer" when suddenly it seems that it is July again.
The North Muskoka/Algonquin Park area witnesses some of the most spectacular
fall colours in the world. Some trees start to turn colour as early as late
August. By late September/early October they will reach their peak colours. By
the end of October, all the leaves are generally gone, signalling that winter
is only a short time away.
Our guests enjoy the benefits of having cottage
accommodation. Families will appreciate
the convenience of separate bedrooms. Couples will enjoy the privacy of their
own cottage.
There is much to do and see at Blue Water Acres. There are more
recreation facilities at the resort
than any other cottage resort in Ontario.
We know you will want to know as much as possible about where you will spend
your fall vacation or a short breakaway. You'll be able to do this right here.
There are many pages for you to explore with many photos and much information
about the resort, the area, and our local attractions and services
Our rates
are very competitive.
